At GOURMEY, you will report to the Industrial Project Manager, within the Operations Department
What will you be responsible for?
As an Industrial Process Engineer, you will be part of the project team in charge of preparing and deploying Gourmey’s industrial strategy. You and the team will handle the execution of Gourmey’s next industrial facility (the very heart of the company for the next years, where it all matters) and the ones after that. For this role, you will have to:
- Align with all other technical departments at Gourmey, especially the process development teams, to capture our state of the art technology and prepare its industrialization
- Build and own the PFD and the P&ID of Gourmey’s industrial site, factoring-in internal requirements and feedbacks, and leveraging third paty expertise and resources (engineering firms, consultant, technical partners and suppliers)
- Study, challenge, optimize, apply our site dimensionning model
- Ensure technical specifications and requirements are met from a process perspective
- Define and compute utilities requirements for our factory and suggest the best approach to meet them
- Place quality by design at the heart of our industrialization path
- Manage third-party engineering companies working on the project’s detailed design
- Explore potential suppliers and technologies to be able to issue technical recommendations to the project manager and the company’s top management, to address industrial challenges
What about you?
- About 5 years of experience in an engineering company and/or designing processes and facilities, ideally in Food of Pharma industry environment
- Rigorous and with a strong analytics mindset, you know how to collect and manage information, data and inputs to identify clearly critical paths and key factors of success
- Curious and proactive, you are interested in exploring new processes, technologies, solutions
- Comfortable with third-party interaction, you know how to handle subcontractors, consultant and/or engineering companies, potential suppliers, etc.
- Any experience on EIA (electricity, instrumentation, automation) topics would be highly valued
- Abilities with Autocad or any other CAD / drawing tool would be a key asset
- Passionate about GOURMEY’s mission to bring to market delicious and sustainable foods through innovation
- Fluent English, both written and spoken. We are a very international team, no need to speak French!
