Your Role
The Global Communications Manager, Digital/Social Media is a strategic position leading digital activities for CI (Cosmetics Ingredients) & supporting global communication.
Flexible location: Barcelona (Spain), Teterboro, New Jersey (United States)
SYMSELECT & ONLINE PLATFORM MANAGEMENT
Manage selected current and future CI Divisional Digital Media & online platforms (SymSelect globally, UL Prospector, etc.)
Primary contact for our internal tool SymSelect.
Content management: coordinate with BUs for materials to update SymSelect. Including, but not limited to newsletters, sliders, articles, events, formulations...
Act as point of contact for CI colleagues for selected digital activities (liaising with Regional Business Managers to validate contact requests for SymSelect)
Oversee tracking of the platforms which occasionally requires extracting excel files to track registrations, percentage of growth, and develop regular reports and suggest enhancements. Liaise with internal stakeholders for support.
SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
Support Comms Director with LinkedIn & Instagram strategy development and lead the community management including campaign calendar and publication
Scout for the latest social media tools and publishing platforms
Keep up to date on new social tools available globally and assess if Symrise CI should be present
Track emerging end consumer applications (e.g. Yuka) that may impact our CI portfolio, business, and brand
FUTURE OF DIGITAL EVOLUTION & AI
Propose new ideas on how CI can use AI/new digital tools implemented at the global level
Your profile:
Formation digital communication/strategy or similar
At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role within a matrix organization
Fluent in English, French and/or German will be an advantage
Passion & Curiosity for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn...) & digital platforms
Digital savvy, knowledges or interest for AI
Experience with Canva preferred
Creative thinker, proactive, open minded
Interpersonal skills
Interest in the sector/products
