At GOURMEY, you will report directly to our Head of Quality & Regulation. You will work closely with our Head of Regulatory Strategy and maintain a tight collaboration with our other R&D teams as well as manufacturing operations. This role is based in our headquarters in Paris.
As a Global Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be a key member of our Quality & Regulation team responsible for executing our global regulatory strategy to bring Gourmey’s products to market by connecting the dots between GOURMEY’s R&D and regulatory compliance, merging the two fields to achieve our global registration goals.
What will you be responsible for?
- Drive the global product registration program alongside the Head of Quality & Regulation to successfully bring GOURMEY products to market.
- Prepare high-quality, compliant regulatory dossiers, technical reports, and other supporting documents for regulatory filings.
- Liaise with global regulatory authorities to obtain regulatory approval.
- Conducting comprehensive scientific research and literature reviews to support dossier development and respond effectively to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including contract research organizations, external laboratories, and consultants, to support regulatory objectives.
- Review data and reports for regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate exceptional project management skills to support multiple regulatory filings and, ensuring all regulatory activities are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and legal departments, to ensure regulatory planning is integrated and aligned with business objectives. You will also work with these teams to generate compliant data to support regulatory submissions.
- Provide regulatory guidance and training to internal teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of regulatory responsibilities and best practices.
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
- Reviewing the legal status of ingredients and raw materials to ensure regulatory compliance for multiple regulatory markets of interest.
- Reviewing labeling, claims, sales & marketing materials, and product changes to ensure they are compliant with regulatory standards across all relevant markets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and monitor how regulatory changes may impact GOURMEY.
What about you?
- B.Sc. and/or M.Sc in one of the life sciences
- 5+ years experience in food regulations, specifically EU novel foods. Regulatory experience in other countries is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French or other languages are a plus.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and comfortable working within a cross-functional team to set the gold standard for quality and regulation.
- Deep understanding of scientific methodologies, data interpretation, and the ability to present complex scientific concepts and results in a clear, precise, and accessible manner.
- You possess enthusiasm, a robust sense of integrity, and a strong work ethic. You are self-motivated, take ownership, and are committed to driving results. Additionally, you maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to collaborate with all team members and to upskill in other areas.
