Innovation Manager – Creams Category
In collaboration with other innovation and foodservice/industrial sales leads the innovation manager is tasked with the development, management and delivery of creams innovation for the NA market of Flora FG. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct consumer research to identify trends, insights, and innovation opportunities.
- Analyze data to identify key insights and create compelling value propositions / stories.
- Steer cross-functional teams across Research & Development, Insights, Finances, Commercialization and Legal/Regulatory.
- Lead the stage gate process (in partnership with R&D), ensuring all specifications and timelines are met.
- Drive strategic and executional alignment with Flora FGs leadership for deployment of innovation.
- Lead ongoing post-launch reporting and analysis to measure performance.
- Create compelling innovation presentations, spec sheets, and sizzles to support sales efforts.
- Challenge the thinking, pushing for entrepreneurial way in ('what if we were a start-up?')
- Champion a future-forward mindset, acting as an Innovation role model within the larger Innovation / Marketing teams and inspiring Flora FG with the latest information on new trends in Foodservice creams category and beyond.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years within CPG or innovation agency/consultancy-type environment
- Experience in Food or Beverage a must; experience in Foodservice a plus
- Experience in consumer insights, built an insights plan, voice of the customer
- Self-starter with a demonstrated comfort with extreme uncertainty - background of identifying new breakthrough opportunities through insights and driving through to execution
- Balance between strategic thinking and executional know-how - can define a clear strategy based on insights & analytics, and bring it to life via hands-on execution
- Strong track record of successful product launched
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation & influencing skills
- Engaging leader who inspires others, always pushing the boundaries on thinking
