Job Summary
Global tax provision
- Financial Reporting – Support the quarter-end and year-end financial reporting processes and be responsible for the various aspects of the worldwide tax provision for domestic and foreign entities. Leverage technical skills in the areas of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740). Maintain effective internal control procedures over all aspects of the tax process to ensure compliance with SOX guidelines. Collaborate with external audit firm on quarterly reviews and year end audit requests on tax provision computations and SOX compliance.
- Tax Planning and Modeling – responsible for the tax forecasts and models associated with various projects and planning initiatives and summarize the anticipated effects on US taxes and the company’s effective tax rate.
- Transaction Support – Provide support for domestic and foreign transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, financing, and business initiatives. Prepare calculations, memos, and/or disclosures relating to the impact of such transactions.
- Technology and Automation – Lead the evolution of tax technology tools and support technology enhancements. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and technology solutions in the company’s provision operations.
- Planning and Legislative – Monitor changes in tax legislation and analyze the effects on tax forecasts and transactions.
- Controls and Process Transformation – Maintain process documentation and support ongoing process transformation while ensuring adherence to controls and polices.
- Other - Responsible for managing the legal entity organizational chart including the gathering of information from regional team and updating the org. chart. Assist management with various cash tax minimization projects and prepare quarterly and annual cash tax payment forecasts used by Treasury and FP&A.
