About the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to join our dynamic sales team. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for interpreting sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize sales strategies and drive revenue growth in the CPG sector. This is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Sales and will focus on This position requires organizational skills, the ability to multitask, the ability to focus and shift attention frequently, and excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will work out of our head office in Richmond.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team and management.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and forecasts to monitor key sales metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and consumer behavior.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and promotional campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Support sales team with ad-hoc analysis, reporting and customer presentations
- Process and record orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Sales team to validate pricing and customer promotions assumptions
- Attend forecasting and demand planning meetings to align future volume utilizing customer sell-thru data
- Collaborate with sales, brokers, marketing and executive management teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Develop and implement strategies for improving customer velocities, in collaboration with the sales & marketing teams

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar role within the CPG industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SPINS, IRI/ Nielsen, Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Excellent level proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and a power user in Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and retail trends in the CPG sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage market share position and promote Konscious Foods as a leader in the industry
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales Analytics within the food industry
- Strong understanding of product positioning and competitive market conditions
- Performs other duties as required
