Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to support the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with company goals and objectives.
- Drive marketing strategy and long-term planning to increase market share, topline revenue growth and store velocities.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong brand presence in the market.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and communication materials.
- Be a protector and builder of an iconic brand. Ensure brand strategy is executed consistently across all creative assets and consumer touchpoints.
3. Team Management:
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Lead the Marketing Department through the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives Set department strategies, metrics/KPI’s, and priorities, as well as to create or enhance current Marketing SOP’s.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Analyze customer insights, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Support sales efforts focused on continual growth through existing and new customers.
5. Campaign Development and Execution:
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, traditional, social, etc.).
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including search engine marketing and optimization, social media, and email marketing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing.
7. Budget Management:
- Ownership of department P&L and oversee marketing budgets, including budget reviews and approval by management. Develop and ensure adherence to marketing operating budget in close partnership with the Finance team.
8. Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- In partnership with the Product Development Team, collaborate on new product launches for both new and existing categories from pipeline ideation to commercialization.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3 plus years) in a senior marketing leadership role.
- 5 years’ experience in the CPG in the food industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative thinking with a passion for big ideas and the ability to champion those ideas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, readily adapting to changing priorities.
