About the Position:
The Marketing Coordinator Intern will support the marketing team in executing various marketing initiatives. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, contributing to trade show management, customer service, marketing logistics, POS materials, award submissions, inventory management, office support, and coupon management.
Responsibilities:
Tradeshow Coordination:
- Lead planning and execution of trade shows and events.
- Coordinate logistics, such as booth setup, promotional materials, product orders, and staffing.
- Help with the post-event analysis and reporting.
Consumer Affairs:
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback through various channels (website, phone, email, social media).
- Respond to consumer inquiries and escalate to the next level when required.
- Track and provide weekly reporting.
Marketing Logistics:
- Support the sourcing, development, coordination and shipping of marketing materials and collateral.
- Assist with execution and tracking of marketing campaigns.
- Help maintain marketing calendars and timelines.
POS Materials/Demo Assets for Field Merchandisers:
- Assist in distributing point-of-sale (POS) materials for field teams.
- Ensure field merchandisers have the necessary tools and resources for successful execution.
Award Submissions:
- Assist in the submission of award entries.
- Track award submission status and results.
Inventory Count:
- Conduct regular inventory counts of marketing POS materials, and promotional items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
Office Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files.
- Help with other office duties as needed.
Coupons/VIP Samples:
- Assist in the distribution, and reporting of promotional coupons.
- Generation and management of QR codes (issue, track, and report).
- Coordinate the shipment of samples accurately and timely.
Website + CMS Content:
- Maintenance and updating of website assets
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
- Prior experience or coursework in marketing is a plus.
- Interest in food and CPG brands.
