About the Job
As a Corporate Tax Intern, you will contribute to tax compliance and strategy work for the global tax function. You will facilitate both tax reporting and assist in tax projects and transfer pricing activities.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be:
- Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Support in the preparation of direct and indirect tax returns.
- Assist in preparing tax computations for tax payments in compliance with local regulations.
- Help execute internal tax reporting, forecasting, analysis, and tax provisioning.
- Tax Planning and Projects
- Assist the local tax team with tax-related advisory.
- Support tax projects and risk management.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects, including tax automation and ESG.
- Transfer Pricing (TP) Reporting and Planning
- Assist the global TP team with routine TP documentation.
- Support TP reviews to monitor global operating margins.
- Contribute to ad-hoc TP studies.
- Relationship with Authorities
- Assist in dealing with tax audits and tax defense.
As a Corporate Tax Intern, attention to detail and analytical skills will be second nature to you. You can work independently and have a keen interest in tax and finance. On top of that, you’re a proactive learner who’s always looking for opportunities to develop.
Furthermore, you should also be:
- Eager to learn and committed to excel
- Have high integrity and discipline
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have interest in tooling, systems and technology.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student, preferably in Finance, Economics, Tax Law, Fiscal Law, Accounting or any related fields during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in February 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 4/5 days per week;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
- You are able to work from Hoofddorp at least 2 times per week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer
We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
