Right now we are looking for our future QHSE Analyst.
The QSHE Anlayst will be responsible for the local implementation of the global QSHE strategy within all operations related to the local business, ensuring that GEA is compliant with corporate, customer, local and legal QSHE requirements. This position will report to the Country MD and will work in close collaboration with local managers in order to drive a proactive QSHE culture to minimize risks and to avoid accidents.
The local QSHE expert will also be responsible to promote the local utilization of global QSHE resources, ensuring an excellent Health & Safety performance combined with a sound financial administration and optimization of resources.
Finally, the local QSHE expert will be in direct contact with Regional and Global QSHE responsibles providing all necessary information and reports.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Support local managers and regional QSHE responsibles in all matters of Occupational Health and Safety
- Provide HSE Support to business unit managers
- Ensure that the local office is compliant with corporate, customers, local and legal QSHE requirements
- Provide trainings and awareness seminars
- Performs Accident Investigations
- Internal and external communication of lessons learned and improvements
- Maintain a risk-oriented approach with comprehensive and proactive actions regarding HSE
- Maintain administrative control of records related to HSE programs
- Installation, organization and maintenance of appropriate local HSE requirements such as first aid, health monitoring, fire protection, PPE etc.
- Further development of the local safety and health management system
- Coordination of safety measures with all functional units
- Elaborate hazard/risk assessments and definition of control measures
- Assures an appropriate hazardous materials management
- Support environmentally friendly strategies
- Cooperation with various authorities and institutions in subjects regarding QSHE
- Establish inspections and audits at local organization, projects and/or sites
- Inspection of safety measures during service execution, both in the workshop and on customer site
- Ensure all GEA HSE rules and requirements are enforced on customer sites
- Presentation of the QSHE Status Report to local managers, employees as well as the Regional QSHE Responsible. Collect and supply monthly Sofi Accident Data
- Promote local utilization of global resources regarding QSHE
- Lead QSHE continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow up on Nonconformance/Corrective Actions and key performance indicator
Your Profile / Qualifications
Required education (e.g. university degree, apprenticeship)
- Adequate HSE education or other technical education with substantial HSE background knowledge
Required Languages
- English proficiency.
- Spanish (full professional proficiency)
Other Qualification / Further Education
- Must have successfully conducted a course or training for safety-related technical knowledges approved by accident insurance institutions or by other recognized authorities
Relevant Work Experience
- Exercised a practical activity in this profession for at least two years
- Availability to work hybrid mode on our Bogota Office.
