Our Service Sales Engineer (Service Projects) is responsible for identifying, developing, promoting, and selling service projects in the beverage (alcoholic, non-alcoholic), dairy, home & personal care, and liquid food industries.
Responsibilities
- Proactive customer visit developing long term relationship with full awareness and accountability of its business, looking for new business's opportunities (service solutions).
- Develop the service sales strategy to ensure our objectives and ambitions for the next coming years.
- Identifying, developing and closing opportunities for service projects business in in the beverage (alcoholic, non-alcoholic), dairy, home & personal care, and liquid food industries in the cluster.
- Finding new ways and providing the best customer experiences.
- Operate in partnership with team of New Machines sales engineers to identify “up-sell” and “cross-sell” opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
- To manage individual day to day activities with responsibility for multiple product groups / application to ensure consistent approach and optimized performance.
- Coordinate service sales planning, forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications
- University degree in one of the engineering and/or processes fields (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.).
- Minimum of 3-5 years as service project sales engineer.
- Minimum English level: B2
- Strong technical knowledge in industries as dairy, beverage, liquid food, home and personal care.
- Service Experience, customer management, empathy and sense of urgency.
- Proven understanding in the after sales businesses, customer relationship management and market development.
- Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups (Valuable).
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands and cultures.
- Prioritizes customer needs, establishes effective relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
