We are seeking a motivated individual for a
Program Manager role to assist with the implementation and management of awarded government grants and the preparation and submission of new grant applications. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully align and coordinate activities spanning diverse functional teams at
Manus’ Boston and Augusta BioFacilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all grant terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for grant-funded projects.
- Develop project scoping, tracking tools and project management processes.
- Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and funding agencies.
- Identify and evaluate government grant opportunities that align with the organization's goals.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of grant applications.
- Collaborate with the Business Development, R&D, and Operations teams to organize and execute on strategic objectives relative to the grants.
- Communicate program progress and next steps both internally and externally, including presentations and written reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a program manager in grant administration or management, preferably with government grants in the biotechnology or life sciences sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing government-funded R&D projects and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations and guidelines.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting for grant-funded projects.
- Experience in industrial biotechnology or a science related industry required
- PMP or other certification in project management preferred
