We are looking for a Senior Director Sustainability & Innovation (m/f/d/x) based in Berlin or s'-Hertogenbosch to support the Heating & Refrigeration Technologies (HRT) Division in meeting the defined sustainability targets.
The HRT Division of GEA provides refrigeration and heating solutions for processes, distribution, district Heating/cooling and other industries. In this way we help our customers to de-carbonize their processes using only Natural zero-warming potential Refrigerants - we're at the forefront of industrial de-carbonation!

Responsibilities / Tasks
- Translate GEA’s sustainability strategy into divisional concepts and initiatives as a member of the division boards contributing to achieve GEA’s groupwide sustainability targets
- Define and lead the implementation of GEA’s comprehensive sustainability strategy from division and business unit’s centricity point of view
- Coordinate and monitor objective achievement of divisional concepts and initiatives
- Facilitate alignment and support across our organization, the division and business units
- Ensure that sustainability reporting and regulatory requirements are fulfilled
- Lead and facilitate innovation initiatives within the division, ensuring alignment with the corporate innovation strategy, with a focus on driving sustainable innovation
- Act as the primary interface with global and corporate innovation campaigns, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to drive business growth and operational efficiency within the two business units
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends and technologies, and integrate them into the division's innovation roadmap
- Mentor and inspire cross-functional teams to cultivate a culture of creativity and continuous improvement also by facilitating workshop at divisional and BU Level
Your Profile / Qualifications
- University degree in Business administration or mechanical engineering – or the equivalent by experience
- Relevant professional experience (5-8 years)
- Fluently spoken and written in English and German is a plus
