The Scent & Care segment has sites in more than 30 countries and markets over 16,000 products in 135 countries. Scent & Care is divided into three global divisions: Fragrance, Cosmetic Ingredients and Aroma Molecules. Their products are used in various areas.
The division employs highly talented and respected perfumers of different nationalities, who work at 13 creative centers around the world. They combine aromatic raw materials like aroma chemicals and essential oils to make complex fragrances (perfume oils). The creative and composition business at Symrise comprises the three global business units Fine Fragrances, Consumer Fragrances and Oral Care.
Your role
Analysing the market in detail to identify opportunities and anticipate trends
Develop marketing tools and media (market segmentation, olfactory, etc.)
Participate in the implementation of quantitative and qualitative marketing studies.
Designing, carrying out and presenting original and innovative marketing studies/plans/concepts in response to specific needs expressed by the client or proactively in order to help generate new briefs.
Help to boost the creativity of the perfumery teams.
Sharing knowledge and best practices internationally with the subsidiaries.
Supporting apprentices and trainees in the marketing team.
With a Master's degree (Bac +4/5) in Marketing or from a top business school, you specialize in the fields of perfumery, cosmetics, or flavors. With 3 to 10 years of experience in marketing departments, ideally within perfume houses, you have developed in-depth expertise in designing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
Your Key Skills:
Comprehensive mastery of all stages of building and deploying a marketing plan.
Proven experience in client relationship management, fostering a collaborative and personalized approach.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with a second language as an additional asset.
