At Nutropy, your missions are:
- Develop, analyze and optimize different microbial processes and strains to produce recombinant proteins and molecules
- Design, plan, execute and analyze different experiences hand-in-hand with your supervisors and colleagues, working both autonomously and in collaboration
- Assist with technology transfer to external partners
- Maintain microbiology, bioprocessing and analytical equipment as well as laboratory inventory, consumables and solutions
- Manage a rigorous lab notebook, write SOPs and maintain logs of strain banks
- Prepare and present results with statistical analyses, conclusions and technical recommendations to your supervisors and the team
- Perform literature searches when necessary
- Undertake any other activies as needed by the business
π οΈ Skills we are looking for
Education & Experience:
- Master, undergraduate/BTS student in engineering, chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar relevant tracks.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a lab with bioreactor fermentation (public or private), ideally 2-5 years
- Ideally, hands-on experience optimizing bioreactor performance of yeast, DOE, fermentation process scale up, previous work in a (food tech) start up environment
- Experience with DSP and analytical methods is a plus
- Able to speak French and/or English (intermediate level) and be comfortable with English scientific literature
