The Balletic team is searching for a motivated, optimistic individual to take the position of Food Chemist. The Food Chemist will be responsible for creating analytical processes for food product components (i.e. ingredients and protein) as well as conducting these analyses. Together with the Balletic team, the Food Chemist will take part in sustainable food innovation and production.
Primary Responsibilities
– Create analytical protocol for protein and food products
– Utilize an extensive knowledge of protein and ingredient functionality
– Conduct analyses in the laboratory while following safety and quality guidelines
– Work with the Food Scientist to develop new methods for food production and protein use
Requirements
– B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field; or higher
– 3-5 Years of food laboratory analysis experience OR coursework in Food Chemistry, Analysis, or Processing
– Detail-oriented, motivated, and disciplined work attitude
– Understanding of the critical mission of increasing the world’s protein production capacities
