Department: Design and Build
The objective of the Mechanical Project Engineer is to provide full project engineering execution from front end engineering design (FEED), detailed design to construction and commissioning, including project planning. The role will report to the Design and Build Lead, working closely with the T&CP team, Finance team and contractors.

Key responsibilities:
Safe execution of the project, in line with a zero injury, zero-harm expectation.
Work within an ENOUGH project team on the capital project alongside contractors
Lead and achieve allocated project responsibilities regarding, scope, planning and capital spend.
Designing and executing a project that is compliant with legal regulations and ENOUGH requirements such as Food Safety and HSE.
Leading according to a responsibility matrix (RASCI) for the identified technical roles and communicating with the project team throughout the project.
Coordinate and lead on the project planning
Coordinating completion of all build deliverables throughout each phase.
Coordinating and preparing for reviews throughout each phase: Project Workshops, Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI), Independent Project Analysis (IPA) Reviews, Technical Reviews, Operational Readiness and Gate Reviews.
Maintaining control of the technical aspects of the project by measuring performance and taking corrective action.
Designing and building a project that meets the operability requirements
Requirements of the role:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with others and work independently
Demonstrate commitment, ownership and seniority in your day-to-day work.
Proven project engineering experience in a project-oriented organisation
Proficient in working with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project
Minimum of a Bachelor education in a related discipline (chemical, bio or mechanical engineering)
Relevant industrial experience in design and manufacturing environment
Experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects in complex environments.
Process and/or operations / manufacturing experience is preferred
Thorough knowledge of plant design, capital projects process and commissioning
Direct experience of process development and scale up
Highly developed practical process engineering skills
Ability to prioritise personal and team workloads to achieve deadlines.
Capable of working under pressure
