Join us as our new Application Scientist
We are looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic, innovative, and consumer-oriented colleague as Application Scientist in Household Care - Application Research (HHC-AR) in Planetary Health.
As an Application Scientist in HHC-AR, you will be leading development of enzyme solutions for future detergents for laundry and automatic dish washing. You will be operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where priorities can shift rapidly based on customer needs and project demands.
Welcome to HHC-AR
In HHC-AR, you will be part of one out of our three departments consisting of 15-18 highly dedicated research scientists and research associates that drive development of enzymes for future detergents. Working with other research units and our customers, your role will be to use your scientific background to drive and support research into enzyme-based solutions for the detergent industry. You can see the details in the bigger picture and turn good ideas into great commercial solutions. In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Heading up research to development future enzyme solutions for detergents.
- Designing and managing research experiments including wash trials in lab scale as well as in domestic washing machines/automatic dish washing machines.
- Investigating substrate removal by enzymes.
- Understanding interactions between enzymes and detergent components.
- Using your innovative mindset.
Potentially relevant experience:
- Have a Master or PhD in biotechnology or similar.
- Have experience with applied research.
- Preferable experience as project leader.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Thrive in seeking new opportunities.
