Join us as Industry Technology Specialist:
We are seeking a highly driven, and commercially oriented Industry Technology Specialist in Household Care to join our Regional Application Center team, part of Technical Service Europe, based in Bagsværd, Denmark.
In this role, you will report to the Head of the Regional Application Center and support efforts to apply biology-based solutions (biosolutions) in Automatic Dish Wash (ADW) applications. You will execute near-to-market initiatives to deliver regional solution innovations and support customer activities to unlock new opportunities and growth in the ADW space. You will operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on customer needs and project demands.
Welcome to the Regional Application Center, part of HHC Technical Service, Europe
You’ll be part of a diverse and international team in Technical Service, alongside five other highly skilled specialists located in Bagsværd, Denmark. You will work closely with the Dish platform lead, also part of the Regional Application Center, and collaborate daily with colleagues in Technical Service, Application Research, Marketing, and Sales teams.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Planning and executing technical lab trials such as wash experiments, stability tests, new soils and methods development, testing with appropriate household care ADW equipment, and collaborating closely with lab technicians.
- Interpreting experimental results, translating technical insights into customer-relatable values, and deploying the results and knowledge generated both internally and externally.
- Supporting the scouting and delivery of opportunities in the ADW space, identifying and qualifying prospects and sales opportunities, including new applications, supporting near-to-market projects, and designing dish experiments for customer goals.
- Working closely with the market, sales teams, and our customers, maintaining a commercial mindset when translating technical insights and data into customer-relatable values.
To succeed you must hold:
- An MSc degree in Biotech, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Relevant industry experience with testing enzymes or probiotics in consumer-relevant applications (preferably Household Care) or relevant experience with formulating and/or testing detergents or raw materials in Household Care applications will be considered a significant asset for the selection.
- Proven experience of a commercial mindset and ability to translate technical insights and data into customer-relatable values.
- Competence in planning and executing laboratory experiments in collaboration with highly skilled technicians.
- A strong personal drive and desire to support business opportunities and strive for excellence.
- Demonstrated interest in proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders, coupled with excellent verbal communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
