Join Us in Manufacturing Enzyme Europe and head up our Material Supply Planning and Production Coordination across the enzyme bulk plants in DK.
As Manager in this position, you will be deeply involved in Manufacturing Enzyme Europe’s daily operation via securing inbound raw material handling and the local coordination of the product flow, analysis follow up and rework planning in our enzyme production. You will be welcomed by a committed team with impact and ownership across different locations in our organization.
As people manager and business-oriented leader your responsibility will be to maintain a thriving working environment in line with Novonesis’ core values. You will join an experienced and self-driven team with large impact on production plans and execution. You are expected to support and head up communication to stakeholders in case of disruptions and if necessary, it will also be required that you can lead cross functional working groups and master a structured approach to problem solving and root cause analysis. You will also play a vital role in our future R&M warehouse strategy, including optimizing cost and ensuring a robust setup.
The ideal candidate in this role will be a vital player in the overall success for our department and the overall production in Manufacturing Enzyme Europe. You will gain a strong network from this role, and the right candidate can over time develop into future manufacturing leadership roles.
The role will be based Kalundborg with occasional travel to other locations e.g. the site at Nørrebro, Fuglebakken.
Welcome to Manufacturing Enzymes Europe
You’ll be working within Manufacturing Enzymes Europe (MEE), which consists of six sites divided between Denmark and Germany, producing enzymes and HMOs. MEE has more than 1,000 dedicated employees producing over 150 different enzymes and HMOs in a 24/7 operation. MEE is a key producer within a broad range of industries, including HHC, dairy, food, and feed.
We are dedicated to new technology and automation, aiming to establish new production setups for the future and meet Novonesis' expectations of being the production powerhouse for biotech. This includes establishing new capacity for growth to support Novonesis' growth journey.
We are also working proactively to meet Novonesis' ambitious sustainability targets. This includes dedicated climate and water programs, where we have made significant progress with scope 1 and 2 targets and are now focusing on scope 3 and increasing our water focus
.
To Select the Right Candidate, We Will Consider:
• Educational background e.g. bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, Production Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
• Proven record from previous roles in a production environment.
• Proven communication skills and the ability to lead teams and groups.
• Ability to analyze large data and make strategic decisions on safety stock, stocking strategies and overall optimizations.
• SAP or other similar ERP system records.
• Good people skills and ability to maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
