As a Strategy & Strategic Business Development Intern (m/f/d) you will be an integral part of the small Global Strategic Initiatives Team that is working on key strategic initiatives within the Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) Division. You will meaningfully contribute by gathering market insights and maintaining the competition overview. You will also support the team to drive and monitor our 2025 strategy initiatives and to update high-level team members. You will work with our Global Category Management and other teams within the T&W organization.
This position is limited for 12 months and based in Kemptthal. You will directly report to the Business & Category Development Manager.
You will:
Improve the competitive landscaping and market understanding over the food and beverage ingredients market by conducting deep dives on selected companies & segments of interest to Givaudan
Produce insight reports and identify strategic opportunities & recommendations
Support the team on different strategic initiatives & business development projects related to the Taste & Wellbeing 2025 & 2030 Strategy
Monitor the essential movements from our competitors and create our bi-monthly business development newsletter
You bring:
You are currently attending or have just finished a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or similar field (Business Administration, Economics, Management, Finance, etc.)
An interest in the fast paced world of Strategy & Strategic Business Development in the Food & Beverage sector
Fluency in English
Good MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
Analytical skills
A growth mindset and open personality
High motivation and curiosity to learn various strategic business development approaches
An interest in research, in company and market analyses, and in projects and project management; experience in those fields is a plus
Flexibility and ability to work on several projects simultaneously and switch priorities on a short notice basis
