Position Overview
Location: Breda, Netherlands Team: Sustainability Team Direct Reports: 3 (2 Environmental Specialists 1 Program Manager)
As our Manager of Decarbonization & Environment, you'll be the strategic catalyst driving our ambitious SCO2RE+ program towards a net-zero future. This is not just a job—it's a mission to redefine sustainable agriculture through collaborative leadership and innovative thinking
Your Strategic Responsibilities
Collaborative Leadership
- Orchestrate cross-functional partnerships to accelerate our sustainability initiatives
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of environmental specialists & program manager
- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
- Translate complex environmental strategies into actionable, organization-wide programs
Strategic Impact
- Lead the implementation of our SCO2RE+ decarbonization program
- Develop and track environmental performance metrics
- Facilitate communication and alignment across business groups

Leadership & Interpersonal Capabilities
- Proven track record in building and inspiring high-performing teams
- Expert in change management and organizational development
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex environmental concepts
- Strong relationship-builder across all organizational levels
Professional Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of sustainability program management experience
- Deep understanding of environmental frameworks such as:
- Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
- Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Emissions Trading System (ETS)
- Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP)
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Language Skills
- Dutch: C1 level
- English: B2/C1 level
