Work Shift: Day Pay Type: Salary Hourly Rate (if applicable): N/A Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): $114,300.00 - $148,300.00 JOB OVERVIEW: The Business Intelligence Manager will be instrumental in transforming how our sales organization interacts with data by leading the development of automated solutions and building a Retail Sales-focused Business Intelligence system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the end-to-end BI process, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining user-friendly dashboards and reports tailored to end users, primarily within the sales organization. Working closely with IT, you’ll identify opportunities for automation, design robust BI solutions, and oversee their deployment. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Design, develop, and implement a Retail Sales BI system using Power BI and other reporting tools from the ground up. Create intuitive and dynamic user interfaces for the sales organization. Collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure seamless integration with backend data management systems. Translate business needs into technical specifications to create tailored Power BI reports and dashboards. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness across all reporting tools. Train and support end users, providing guidance on using the Power BI platform effectively. Continuously improve and maintain existing reports, adapting to changing business needs. Stay up to date with Power BI updates and new features, ensuring the BI system remains cutting-edge. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on automation, preferably within Retail Sales or CPG industry Proven experience in developing and implementing Power BI systems, ideally from inception. Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar. Proven track record of managing complex BI automation projects and platforms. Excellent understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of data visualization, user interface design, and end-user needs.
