Job description
About Again
At Again, we are tackling one of the planet’s most pressing issues—CO2 emissions—by transforming them into a solution. Our innovative approach involves fermenting industrial waste gases into carbon-negative chemicals, thereby turning harmful emissions into valuable, emission-free green chemicals. With each tonne of product we create, we remove over 2 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere. Backed by over $90 million in funding from top venture capital investors and the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, we’re poised for rapid growth and global impact. If you think we’re doomed - think Again
What you’ll do
As the Head of Project Finance, you will be at the forefront of our mission to decarbonize heavy industry on a global scale. Your primary role will be to lead and execute our finance and investment strategy, driving the development and scaling of our carbon-negative chemical manufacturing plants worldwide. You will work closely with our co-founders and commercial team, ensuring the financial viability of our projects as we expand. Your leadership will be crucial in commissioning over $100 million worth of industrial projects over the next 24 months, guiding our journey from a promising startup to a globally recognized leader in sustainable industrial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Development: Work closely with company leadership to shape the growth trajectory by defining success metrics, including the number of plants, business models, and ideal capital structures.

- Go-to-market: Lead go-to-market efforts, build and manage a robust pipeline of investors to secure the funding necessary for our expansion.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with our projects and capital structure, ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our leadership to develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including capital allocation, and financial planning.
