Join the Global HR Support team within GEA HR Operations. From our hubs in Berlin, Bogota and Kuala Lumpur, we provide HR support, consulting, training and resolve queries on a wide range of HR topics raised by employees and managers in over 50 countries worldwide. Our colleagues offer support in the areas of on- and off-boarding, learning, talent and performance management, employee relations, employee experience, total rewards, employee & manager services, HR systems and processes.
We are looking for experienced and motivated HR Operations Specialist - French & Spanish or Italian (f/m/d) for deployment in Germany for the location Berlin as soon as possible.
- Be the first point of contact on general HR matters for Employees and Manager across the EMEA Region, primarily France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, UAE.
- Provide advice to Managers and Employees on various HR topics, inquiries, policies, procedures, and requests for information
- Route or initiate HR processes on behalf of Managers if needed to ensure swift resolution
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR Operations for the assigned countries by resolving inquiries via HR Hotline & service requests via ServiceNow
- Coordinate employee on-boarding & off-boarding activities, including personal data entry and update, facilitation of new hire / leaver paperwork, registration across various HR portals
- Actively contribute to implementation & embedding of global HR processes in the areas of Performance Management, Talent Development, Employee Engagement & Total Rewards by facilitating process management, conducting demos or enablement trainings and proactively consulting Managers & Employees
- Perform various HR activities related to maintenance of time & attendance records, benefits enrollment, digital filing of employee documents, generation of employment certificates
- Work together with country HR Business Partners, mobility experts & colleagues in HR Operations to coordinate organizational / employment changes & international employee transfers
- Generate reports to monitor key milestones on the employee lifecycle & upon request
- Contribute to HR projects including process design, system testing, documentation, communication & enablement
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 - 2 years of HR experience in HR Administration, HR Business Partnering or Talent Acquisition & Development, preferably in an international matrix environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws & employment regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French, and Spanish or Italian additional European language such as: Dutch, Danish preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality & handle sensitive information
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with stakeholders across geographies
- Solution-oriented attitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HRIS software, preferably Workday and ServiceNow
