The Opportunity
CAULIPOWER is looking for a Shopper Marketing Specialist to lead content syndication and execute customer-specific shopper marketing programs that achieve brand business objectives for customers. You will analyze program performance and drive optimizations to ensure shopper marketing solutions maximize value for both the customer and the brand. Shopper Marketing is a vital part of our brand strategy and this position will play an integral part in driving brand success. This role will report to the Senior Brand Manager and be a part of the Marketing team.
Responsibilities
Planning and Financial Management
- Collaborates with Brand, Sales, Trade Planning and Finance teams to ensure Shopper Marketing programs are aligned with strategy and business objectives related to revenue targets and retail execution.
- Leverages shopper insights and collaborates with the Insights team to ensure programs are insight-driven and aligned to category growth strategies.
- Tracks shopper marketing budget for all customers; is accountable for forecasting and tracking CPUMs to plan as well as managing invoice approvals, budget accruals and monthly budget reconciliation.
Program Execution and Customer Relationship Management
- Drives the execution of all shopper marketing programs.
- Ensures Shopper programs are aligned to Marketing objectives. Develops volume forecast, creative brief, program plan alignment, in-market execution, and post-analysis.
- Works with Marketing, Finance, Sales and Trade Planning to measure Shopper Marketing program effectiveness against objectives; recommends tactical and strategic solutions for continuous improvement.
- Consults as the Shopper Marketing knowledge expert for retail customers, sharing tactic recommendations and best practices for National Brand campaigns and yearly programming.
- Manages data syndication and product content across all relevant sites.
- Owns Coupon Clearinghouse relationship and budget.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of Brand, Customer and/or Shopper Marketing experience.
- Experience in the CPG industry required.
- Demonstrated experience executing marketing programs that leverage multiple media vehicles across grocery retailers; experience with content syndication preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to turn shopper insights and data into actionable programs/solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to think strategically, incorporate new learning into plans, and act decisively.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.
