As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and senior leadership to support the wider company. You will develop expert knowledge of Moving Mountains Foods Ltd, gaining a deep understanding of our products from manufacturing to distribution.
In this role, you will take on critical responsibilities in managing stock and orders, working directly with trade customers and 3PL daily. As part of a small but rapidly growing team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of key operational processes and collaborate across all departments. Over time, you will play a pivotal role in managing UK stock and order fulfilment, making this a high-impact position with strong career progression.
Key Skills Required:
· Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing.
· Strong organizational skills and data proficiency—quick with numbers and analytics.
· Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines.
· Adaptability to prioritise tasks as they arise.
· Comfortable with multitasking, both independently and within a team.
Key Skills Preferred:
· Experience in food exportation and importation.
· Degree-educated or at least one year of experience in a similar role (Finance, Logistics, Operations).
· Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
· Order Management: Oversee product dispatch and delivery, ensuring deadlines are met, and assist the finance team with invoicing.
· Warehouse and Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to manage and fulfil orders and stocks for UK foodservice and retail partners.
· Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve delivery issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Sample requests: Office inventory and samples
· Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to department managers regarding discrepancies, issues, and urgent inquiries.
· Customer Liaison: Maintain direct communication with Moving Mountains’ customer accounts.
· Administrative Support: Handle emails, phone calls and customer inquiries professionally.
· Market Research: Conduct research to support product development and business decisions.
· Travel: Attend meetings as required.
· Additional Responsibilities: Assist other teams or departments as needed

HOURS:
· Full time 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
· Flexi time available to accommodate lifestyles.
HYBRID WORKING:
· 3 mandatory office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
· Must be willing to commute to office location.

SALARY:
· £28,000 per year
