You will join the Planetary Health Business Finance team, a diverse and globally connected group focused on supporting innovation through strategic financial deliveries. Our team values collaboration, mutual support, and a shared commitment to financial excellence.

In this role, you’ll make an impact…
… by enhancing financial reporting and transparency, creating value for Planetary Health and its Applied Research, and supporting their growth. You will co-pilot continuous improvement initiatives within research and innovation, ensuring alignment and clarity in resource allocation and financial performance. By collaborating strategically, you will provide comprehensive insights and business support to the two VPs of Applied Research, driving improvements and fostering innovation.
Key tasks include:
- Executing and driving annual financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on innovation performance economics and KPIs
- Being a trusted advisor to the Applied Research leadership.
- Make data-driven recommendations on innovation opportunities and pipeline prioritizations.
- Validating research investment cases and monitoring progress post-implementation.
- Partnering on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance innovation efficiency and value creation.
Collaboration is a vital key, as you will engage with stakeholders, including VPs, management teams, and finance colleagues across the globe.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate is an analytical and proactive finance professional with a talent for stakeholder engagement. You excel at simplifying complex topics and delivering actionable insights while thriving in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. Your expertise allows you to balance strategic vision with hands-on implementation, empowering teams to achieve shared objectives.
- A master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in finance business partnering, controlling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a similar role.
- Experience or understanding of a research and development (R&D) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English.
