Role Summary
The V-Label is an internationally recognized trademark, protected since 1996, for labeling vegetarian and vegan products. In Germany, ProVeg e.V. is responsible for awarding the V-Label. ProVeg is a food awareness organization dedicated to transforming the global food system by replacing animal-based foods with plant-based and cultivated alternatives.
As Senior Marketing Manager (all genders) of the V-Label Team at ProVeg, you will oversee all aspects of strategic development and team management, as well as campaign and brand management. Your leadership experience will benefit the team, while your all-round marketing expertise will strengthen the product. You are passionate about numbers, KPIs, and data-driven marketing and are not afraid to take a hands-on approach when necessary. Your key areas of focus will include B2B marketing, customer lifecycle management, and developing new channels and licensing partnerships.

Working hours: 35 - 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Development: You lead and develop the marketing team (consisting of two full-time employees as well as project-based student assistants and freelancers). You coach and support team members to foster their personal and professional growth.
- Strategic Planning: You develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve shared goals. You conduct market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Campaign Management: You plan, manage, and oversee marketing campaigns with a focus on B2B and online marketing. Further you ensure KPI-based analysis and continuous optimization of campaign performance.
- Brand Management: You ensure a consistent brand presence across all communication channels. Meanwhile you maintain and further develop our corporate identity (CI) and corporate design (CD).
- Digital Marketing: You continuously expand and enhance our online presence, including website, social media content, email marketing, and lead generation.
- Customer Focus: You develop strategies to optimize the customer lifecycle and improve customer retention (retention marketing). You also conduct surveys and initiate market research projects to better understand target audiences.
Qualifications
- A completed degree (Master’s or diploma) in business administration, marketing, or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on online and B2B marketing.
- Proven experience in leading and developing team members.
- Fluent German language skills at C2 level and excellent English skills (C1).
- Willingness to occasionally travel within Germany for meetings and projects.
- Strong customer focus, high reliability, and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, and empathetic demeanor.
- Strong organizational talent, high initiative, and decision-making skills – you can find pragmatic solutions even in unclear situations while keeping an overview.
- Creativity and openness to working with data and text processing tools.
- A “hands-on” mentality: you enjoy actively working on various projects.
