To strengthen the diverse activities of ProVeg e.V., we are looking for a Legal Counsel (all genders) who will act as the central point of contact for all legal aspects of our organization (ProVeg Germany) and help to further develop these areas.

With your knowledge and dedication, you will support our various teams in legal matters, ensure smooth operations in all areas, and actively contribute to turning our mission of a plant-based world into reality.
Responsibilities
Legal Advice: Provide high-quality support to ProVeg teams and executive management with precise, solution-oriented recommendations.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal regulations across all areas and develop sustainable processes to minimize risks.
Project Support: Provide legal oversight and support for the implementation of exciting projects.
Knowledge Management: Maintain and expand our internal knowledge pool, as well as document and structure legal inquiries.
Training: Conduct internal training sessions to keep our teams informed about the latest legal developments.
Legal Compliance in Daily Operations: Ensure that all legal requirements are met in the organization’s day-to-day activities.
Collaboration with Experts: Coordinate with external legal experts when necessary and facilitate smooth communication.
Qualifications
Completed German law degree or a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law.
At least three years of relevant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of contract law.
Good understanding of corporate legal obligations.
A basic understanding of compliance, risk management, and data protection law.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
Assertive, persuasive, yet cooperative and solution-oriented work approach.
Sound judgment and the ability to analyze complex situations and information.
A high level of professional ethics, integrity, and accountability
Preferred:
Relevant further training in data protection and compliance.
Experience with tools such as G-Suite and Wrike.
