Join us as our new Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
Based in the Novonesis office in Hørsholm, Denmark, you will be responsible for batch review and release, and quality related tasks within the manufacturing & supply of probiotic-based products. Your duties will include coordinating with local and global stakeholders, overseeing timely product releases, complaint handling, change control management, and collaboration with CMOs and global colleagues.
Welcome to Human Health Quality Europe department
You will be joining a team of 12 competent and highly engaged Quality colleagues within the Human Health Quality Europe department. This global team is responsible for ensuring the supply of high-quality probiotic-based dietary supplements in various formats. Furthermore, the team provides quality support to customer complaints, audits, projects, and other tasks within the quality framework.

You will report to the department manager for Human Health Quality Europe.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
CMO quality qualification and re-evaluation on excising CMOs
Complaint handling according to Novonesis procedures
Change control management on new and existing products
Release of Dietary Supplements, pharma and infant nutrition products in e.g. SAP and LIMS
Batch documentation review and compiling documentation to support product release
Keeping SOP’s up to date
Deviation handling and CAPA management
Internal and external audits, and participating in audits from customers
Be an active Quality partner in the Human Health quality organization collaborating with global colleagues
Keeping up to date with GMP and relevant regulatory requirements
Participate in continuous improvement work relating to QA and release processes
International travelling 3 - 4 times a year.
To succeed you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant MSc degree
At least 3 years of experience in quality management within the Food, pharma or Dietary Supplements industry
Work experience in major biotech, food, or human health companies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
You have a strong insight of release process and batch documentation in a production-supply-release flow
You have a solid quality mindset with knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements e.g., Eudralex Vol. IV, HACCP, FSSC 22000, 21 CFR part 111 and ISO 22000
You have good communication skills, and a good sense of humor comes naturally to you
We expect you to be fluent in English (business level proficiency), also reading Danish is an advantage as some SOPs are in Danish
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
