Summary: The Terova Marketing Manager is an accomplished manager responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and propel sales growth within the Terova business. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across multiple marketing channels to ensure the brand's purpose, aspirations, and products are effectively communicated to target business audiences.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and a proven track record of growing ingredient brands in the food industry, who can effectively partner with internal teams and external partners to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, innovation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with Terova’s business goals.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.
Works with the leadership team to develop the programs and the content to communicate Terova’s strategy, capabilities platform, global sustainability initiatives, and product/segment-specific developments for internal and external audiences internationally.
Define and refine the brand’s positioning, messaging, and value proposition.
Brand Management & Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing initiatives.
Maintain and enhance the brand’s visual identity and messaging across all marketing channels.
Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital, print, and events) to promote Terova’s products/capabilities both internally and externally.
Collaborate with internal teams (business development, global marketing, product management, customer service) to ensure campaign alignment and integration.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
Content Marketing:
Oversee the development of high-quality marketing content such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blogs, and social media posts.
Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
Manage relationships with external content creators, designers, and agencies.
Customer & Market Insights:
Utilize data and analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, market conditions, and campaign effectiveness.
Prepare and present reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI.
Use insights to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing tactics.
Event & Sponsorship Management:
Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities to increase brand exposure.
Collaboration & Relationship Building:
Work closely with business development teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts:
Develops comprehensive briefs and marketing plans for Business Development/Segment Leads to enhance brand recognition and differentiation.
Plays a hands-on role in content creation and presentations for cross-functional team needs and in organizing/executing events, field visits and product demonstrations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Foster collaboration with internal (incl Griffith Foods teams worldwide) to ensure cohesive and effective marketing regarding Terova’s programs, products and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in growth or product marketing with a strong focus on building brand awareness and generating qualified leads.
B.A. or B.S., preferably with a concentration in Food Science or Marketing.
Brand marketing experience at a Food/Nutrition/Supplement company preferred.
Proven track record in brand strategy development and execution.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
Expertise with MS Office, Canva, Photoshop and other digital editing and presentation tools for data and content. Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Ability to collaborate with customers, technical subject matter experts, executive leadership, and creative partners.
Ability to think creatively to effectively and engagingly present complex content to different audiences worldwide.
Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and ability to work independently.
Able to travel 25% of the time.
