Marketing Manager

About the position
We are looking for a dynamic and outstanding all-round marketing professional to join our team at Flora Food Group Kazakhstan!
As a Marketing Manager responsible for our retail and food service brands, you will be the driving force behind delighting our consumers and customers with our natural healthy plant-based products and ensuring that everyone is talking about them! Working with the Head of Marketing, Turkey, Central Asia & Caucasia, you will have your finger on the pulse of the consumer. You are grounded in their world and reality and are excited to bring products and brand experiences to their world using all media channels with a strong emphasis on digital that is relevant, timely and engaging.
You will focus on the end-to-end mix development and deployment of our brands and innovations for Kazakhstan as well as other key markets in Central Asia & Caucasia. You are expected to be entrepreneurial and resourceful, with a proactive & goal-orientated mindset, looking to break out from the status-quo. You will be fully responsible for marketing end to end processes, which is brand development as well as deployment. This includes but is not limited to Brand Strategy and Communication Development, New Product Development, Consumer and Market Insight, Media Buying, Digital Marketing and Brand Activation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive Flora Food Group’s Retail business across Central Asia & Caucasia markets, with a focus on Kazakhstan; fully accountable for your brands’ top line, bottom line, equity and market share growth.
- Develop and drive long-term brand vision delivering category and market share growth.
- Own the performance for your brand – accountable for the P&L and for translating ideas into action
- Own every element of your brand from the equity, strategy, performance and profitability
- Deliver game changing brand strategy that brings the consumer into our brands and delivers loyalty and commitment to achieve business goals
- Ensure the planning, accurate monitoring and controlling of Advertising & Promotion budget
- Develop and implement brand marketing plans taking considering local market and consumer insights as well as 12Q plan and full year activity plan.
- Work to raise brand awareness/maintain image and ensure best in class across your market/Brand(s) with integrated sales & marketing plans, tools and creative assets.
- Leading and loving landing brilliant execution in digital, PR and in-store – drive our brand awareness via owned and earned channels, working to create and run successful influencer events.
- Into the data zone – you love to dig into the data and uncover the insight jewels
- Innovation is at the heart, you work across all functions to build best tasting products that tell a story the consumer and customer cannot ignore with winning financials.
- Drive aligned ATL and BTL communication in co-operation with local Customer Marketing and Sales teams. Ensuring all planned activities are executed to an optimal level and that key Jobs-to-be-dones are achieved and set KPIs are met in terms of trial, awareness and ROMI
- Responsibility for media/PR communication, campaign briefing and planning.
- Champion consumer insights throughout the organization to ensure sustainable growth of the business and optimal brands’ equity.
- Work with Sales as one team – listen and learn continuously to improve our mix and impact in market.

About you!
Minimum Requirements:
- Marketing or Business Degree
- A minimum of 5 years of brand building and brand development experience in FMCG and with proven capability for nurturing and growing brands
- Proven experience in Digital Marketing / Media with a real Digital Native Mindset
- 360 Marketing communications experience
- A proven track record in innovation delivery and that entails moving compelling ideas into fruition
- Experience of doing things with a progressive, original approach – you are unique after all….
- Fully understand the commercial journey and possess strong financial acumen
- Good working knowledge of Russian and English is must; Turkish and/or Kazakh knowledge is a plus.
- Availability for travel within the Central Asia & Caucasia region.
