We are seeking an exceptional and entrepreneurial Senior Marketing Manager to join our innovative business, focusing on both retail and food service marketing in Malaysia and Singapore. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing for South East Asia & Far East Asia, you will be instrumental in developing and executing local marketing and innovation strategies. As the key driver of our brand marketing initiatives, you will be responsible for end-to-end mix development and deployment of our brands and innovations. Your role will encompass consumer insights, concept development, product innovation, and media & communication strategy, along with collaborating closely with sales and trade marketing teams. You will also engage with global counterparts, ensuring alignment and effective stakeholder management.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and drive local marketing & innovation strategy, plan and executions in Malaysia & Singapore as a Category/Business Owner in local markets. The following are the key activities but the end of the day you are responsible for your brands top line, bottom line, equity, and market share growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term category vision and execution plan that drives top-line and bottom-line growth, enhances brand equity, and captures market share.
- Brand Building: Create and nurture brands that resonate with consumers, ensuring they are loved and embraced in your markets.
- Local Market Insights: Utilize market and consumer insights to develop comprehensive brand marketing plans, including an annual activity calendar tailored to local needs.
- Food Service Marketing: Design and execute marketing plans for food service operators that meet their unique needs and deliver value.
- Portfolio Management & Innovation: Assess market demands to optimize product assortments and introduce data & insight driven innovations to broaden our portfolio.
- Pricing Strategy: Formulate pricing strategies that foster profitable growth while implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance gross margins.
- Integrated Communication: Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Sales teams to align ATL and BTL communication, ensuring optimal execution of planned activities and achievement of KPIs in terms of trial, awareness, and return on marketing investment (ROMI).
- Media & PR Management: Take ownership of media and PR communication, overseeing campaign briefing, planning, and execution.
- Budget Responsibility: Manage, monitor, and report on the Advertising & Promotion and Trade Marketing budgets, ensuring effective spending aligned with strategic objectives.
