About the Position!
This is an exciting time to join a leading plant-based company for the spreads/butter + cream categories with aggressive ambition. We’re looking to hire an Assistant Brand Manager. The Assistant Brand Manager would work on the creative development and execution of our activation programs as well as lead many key performance and operational aspects of the business, all while supporting Category Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing. This Assistant Brand Manager will join the Flora Food marketing team with a variety of opportunities to develop their marketing acumen and show leadership potential to further their career within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our brands including the consumers, customers, competitors, retailers & food service business environments within Turkey & other potential markets (Central Asia & Caucasia) to identify the Job To Be Done and key growth initiatives.
- Assist in the development of brand marketing plans in line with the local market and customer needs.
- Analyze brand Profit and Loss (P&L) and drive the profitability of the business and our brands.
- Lead in ongoing analysis and review of consumer, category, channel/customer, and competitive information as part of a situation assessment of brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Responsible for developing strategies to increase brand awareness and marketing power with manager and delivery of penetration KPIs and TO growth including analysis and tracking of driving activities.
- Assist in all around marketing coordination and project management to deliver end-to-end seamless execution.
- Build productive working relationships with customer development/sales team, Consumer Market Insights, regional category team, finance, and supply chain to manage brand’s day-to-day operations, and external partners and agencies.
- Lead innovation projects and ensure perfect execution by following the new product development governance.
- Monitor advertising budget on an ongoing basis, work closely with external partners to efficiently process expenses.
- Close tracking of New Product Development’s (NPD) with commercialization team to ensure flawless launch process.
- Spread the word, leading the growth of our digital platforms across all brands with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive digital as a key platform by owning digital and social media accounts communication and PR activities.
- Project and network management from idea to market execution.
- Analyze market data and business performance metrics and prepare monthly reports for top management.
About you!
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills to present clearly, simplify complex topics and influence decision making; communication skills both written and verbal
- Self-driven, self-motivated, committed A-Player relentless on delivering goals
- A team player accountable, open minded who likes to work in a rapid and agile way with various competencies and departments by being result oriented
- High energy, positive attitude, and focus
- Highly resilient and adaptive to changing circumstances
- Consistently demonstrate persistence and perseverance
- Good command of Windows applications (Excel & PowerPoint are must)
- Excellent command of English
- Global company experience and/or experience in FMCG is a plus
