Collaborating with cross-functional global and regional teams, you implement brand strategy that is aligned with our brand vision to drive sustainable growth and to deliver business objectives. You also support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives, including new product development and platform opportunities
How You Will Contribute
You will work with others to execute the brand strategy for designated brands, develop product and packaging initiatives, implement pricing strategies, and plan and execute integrated marketing communication and media plans. You will also provide recommendations for integrated commercial plans and provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing plans to ensure they meet revenue, profit targets, sharing objectives and monitoring performance. Based on your strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you ill help develop integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

More About This Role
What you need to know about this position: In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the future of our Confectionery business, working on Canada's favorite brands such as Cadbury, Mini Eggs, Toblerone, Sour Patch Kids & Maynard’s! As a part of this role, you will have the chance to work on a broad scope of projects to build your marketing skills including:
Brand Equity and Strategy. Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies in partnership with a team of cross functional partners. Present and share plans with the sales team to ensure commercial alignment and execution.
Analysis and Insights into Action. Proactively monitor brand performance along with key competitors across the market. Take key insights to provide recommendations on maximizing growth opportunities and actions to take.
Brand building and In-store activation: build brand equity in Canada by developing remarkable creative & media working with our agency partners and internal team of experts.
Innovation and Renovation. Build a pipeline of consumer first and customer centric innovation. Lead development of innovation and renovation alongside cross functional teams.
Cross-functional Leadership. Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal (sales, R&D, operations etc.) and external (agency, packaging designs/suppliers, etc.) partners.
Budget Ownership. Identify and manage the brand’s budget spend to effectively execute plans; Own the overall budget and manage it with key partners.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Job specific requirements:
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a marketing role
Ability to thrive in and handle ambiguity & fast paced environment
Ability to build and deliver against strict timelines
Ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team
Travel requirements: Minimal travel required
Work schedule: Full time (M-F)
