Our Procurement teams develop and implement business procurement strategies for our sites to improve cost, both P&L and balance sheet and to identify and reduce risk, according to our goals, corporate guidelines and local policies. They are skilled, efficient, performance-driven, and a team that ensures targets completion. They manage supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Reporting to the head of Procurement IM&S NOAM, you will implement strategies for complex categories of goods and services, to secure the required supply of materials and services within the company, supporting corporate, sustainability and partner goals according to our strategy and corporate guidelines.
This position can be based in our sites in Cincinnati or New Jersey, with an hybrid working model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote)
Category Management Strategy
- Help develop and implement Indirect Materials & Services Procurement strategies.
- Understand main cost drivers, industry trends and best practices to shape the IM&S strategy following business and operations goals
- Support sourcing strategy development within teams
- Support sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and important commercial negotiations
- Analyze supply markets and implement risk management strategies for main Indirect Materials and Services
- Support the responsible sourcing projects implementation (Sedex, Audits).
Supplier Management
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and involve and engage partners in development of optimization plans
- Link with Site Buyers and other regional teams and sourcing centers to identify alternative suppliers in other geographies, deploy global strategies, contracts and framework agreements, collect supplier performance feedback
- Develop global/regional supplier relationships, and lead main supplier conflict resolutions
- Identify potential demand and specification changes and communicate them with suppliers
Business Reporting
- Identify site and our needs
- Lead quarterly site and business reviews
- Identify potential demand and specification changes, communicate with important company partners any marketcondition changes which may affect the business
- Prepare initiative and project plans and forecasts following business budget cycle
- Provide price forecast and market trends for main commodities and services
You?
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement and other functional experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in English, other languages
- Understanding of procurement systems – SAP
- Understanding of the relevant supply markets
- Financial and Project Management skills
