Duties include:
- Physical movement of product within the factory to work center’s or part locations. Job order
kitting and material movement activities.
- Work closely with planning and manufacturing supervisors to keep job orders on schedule.
- Advise Production and Purchasing of material outages.
- Verify inventories and part locations as required.
- Support the Company goal of Zero Lost Time accidents through safe work practices and use
of required safety equipment.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in material handling or similar work environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems an asset
- Reasonable English speaking, reading, and comprehension is required for training,
understanding instructions and safety orientation.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 50lbs on occasion without assistance.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with LEAN principles is an asset.
