Join us as our new Account Manager, Household Care, Europe
You will be part of the sales team of Household care working with international clients across Europe, but with focus on the Spanish Market. You will be the primary interface between Novonesis and the current/prospective customers in your area. Your customer focus will be Europe and you will interact closely with Novonesis colleagues (commercial, marketing and technical) globally.
You will deal with our customers to develop the private label and brand segment in household care & professional cleaning with a special focus on more biotech in the products. You will drive the development of multi-layer sales relationships within accounts and understanding the decision power distribution as well as leverage the executive suite. The orchestration of the relationship between the customer and Novonesis will be a key focus and through this turning business and industry development into sales opportunities.
Travel should be expected to visit customers in the region.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Turning business, industry development and customer needs into sales opportunities and proactively identifying and driving new opportunities in untapped markets
- Inspiring your customers with new technologies and concepts to develop new business areas
- Managing commercial projects from idea generation to final stage of implementation, while ensuring our product offerings meet customer, market and competitive demand
- Establishing and driving accounts in coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing and Supply Operations with respect to order handling and accurate demand plans)
- Build and Maintain Key Relationships with customers: Regular travel to engage with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Planning & executing price and contract negotiations
- Developing a business pipeline and managing business anchoring with/for customers and driving Proof-of-Concept execution both commercially & technically - together with your technical colleagues
To succeed you must hold:
- Spanish and English working proficiency, or even native speaker.
- Hold a degree (MSc or MBA) in business administration, sales & marketing or a technical degree
- +5 years of relevant experience within Sales, Marketing or Technical role (alternatively in chemical or biochemical sciences).
- Have a strong drive, positive mindset, high ability to learn, goal-oriented, well organized, a can-do-attitude and teamwork skills working with colleagues globally
- Knowledge about the detergent industry, dynamics of the market and applications will be a plus
- Salesforce knowledge is an advantage
You have a growth-focused mindset, driven by a passion for promoting technical products. With excellent interpersonal skills, you translate customer needs into effective solutions, building strong relationships. Your strategic thinking and business acumen guide sound decision-making that aligns with organisational goals.
Location: This job will be located at our HQ in Lyngby or remote work.
