As part of the IFF Health & Biosciences organization, we service a broad range of IFF’s products in a global work environment. You will be impressed to discover our world of high-quality food ingredients and their importance for the quality of food.
We are looking for a competent colleague with both technical and business sense who like to work in a busy area with varied daily tasks. On a daily base you are interacting with the starter cultures production departments at Health & Biosciences manufacturing sites and provide support to find sustainable solutions in the scope of food safety and quality requirements.
Food safety and microbiological understanding and expertise are necessary in the position.
You will be responsible for the coordination of various tasks to ensure regulatory, technical and customer specific compliance. The major tasks are:
- Management of technical commercialisation including
- risk assessment and approval processes for intermediates, finished materials, raw and packaging materials,
- coordination of intermediates exchanges between sister sites globally and
- labelling information under consideration of regulatory, production related and customer specific requirements
- Coordination of the documentation and maintenance of products in our production systems, including SAP
- Technical approval of Product Descriptions, statements and other product related documents to our customers
- Technical coordination and implementation of customer requirements
- Handling of deviations
Qualifications:
- Academic background in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biosciences, Food Technology, or related science fields, or equivalent experience
- preferably with microbiological understanding, experience within food safety and food product documentation/traceability
- competency in using IT-systems; familiarity with SAP will be a plus
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize effectively
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relations with a variety of stakeholders across borders and cultures
- Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner
- excellent communication skills in English
- Native level of German or French
