Position Overview:The Country Manager Canada will plan and carry out sales and marketing activities in Canada in cooperation with broker partner to maintain and increase sales of Bob’s Red Mill products in Canada in accordance with the organization strategy and agreed business plans.

- Essential Job Functions:Plan and implement business strategy, including marketing and sales strategy, to develop the brand’s sales and market position in the market with assistance of other stakeholders.
- Portfolio and margin management, including promotions, trade marketing activities, and channel specific selection of product range.
- Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets.
- Work with broker partner’s Key Account teams to maximize the development of each key account across Canada.
- Develop and manage national marketing and sales activities and strategies for Bob’s Red Mill products with broker and other partners.
- Maintain relevant reporting and planning systems on sales and marketing performance, activities and budgets in collaboration with Marketing, Trade Marketing and Finance.
- Carry out market research and analysis of category and retailer developments in Canada, in order to develop and manage sales and marketing strategies and activities and achieve net sales and profitability.
- Central point of contact, liaison with, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Support and other departments to support customer development and market penetration.
- Maintain and develop optimal brand presentation within target markets and provide best practice examples to be shared within the full organization.
- Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of competition on key channel initiatives and strategic directions.
- Provide direction to the Customer Support and Supply Chain Teams as it relates to order management, shipment and delivery to execute related initiatives.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
- Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

- Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have any direct reports.
- This position reports to the Director of Special Channels, Sales.

Physical Demands:
- Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately 2 hours at a time with extensive data entry and computer keyboard usage.
- May be required to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The primary work environment for this position is within an at-home office setting. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position.
- Business travel to United States is required.
