Brought together as an integrated Bioproducts Division in October 2023, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRAIN Biotech Group, based in Zwingenberg (Germany). Position
To perform general maintenance and repair of the site equipment, facilities and grounds. The role will also involve recording and monitoring duties of the production and facilities equipment, as well as general administrative duties for the Maintenance Team.
Requirements
Key result areas:
- Timely and accurate testing, monitoring, and reporting on all manufacturing/office/facilities equipment
- Working safely and creating a safe environment for others
- Meet Company compliance requirements for equipment testing and monitoring.
- Accurate inventory management of maintenance stores
Need to know:
- Risk assessment and safe systems of work methods
- Facilities Management and control of contractors
Need to be able to do: (Key activities)
- Oversee and execute all aspects of building maintenance including office spaces, structures, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the above areas are in proper operating condition at regular intervals to prevent failure and degradation.
- Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned maintenance work
- Supporting the Maintenance team with maintenance and facilities service and repairs
- Carrying out quality inspections on maintenance tasks
- Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
- Inventory management of small parts stores systems and tools
- Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs
- Liaising with service and maintenance contractors
- Completion of permits and isolations to ensure maintenance health and safety is of the highest standard.
- Ensure all contractors and visitors follow relevant safety procedures
- Ensure all contractors’ information is reviewed and permits to work are issued prior to work being carried out
- Site facilities and grounds management
- Carry out the responsibilities stated in the Managing Director’s Environmental, Health & Safety Policy and associated documents
- Complete Environmental / Health & Safety / Food Safety / Customer Audit works.
