The Global Workplace Manager is part of the broader Corporate Real Estate Management team that reports to the COO. This team is an exciting global team covering a diverse set of GEA real estate projects in all regions.
The location for this position is flexible, ideally in Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, but other EMEA locations where GEA is present will also be considered.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Under the Global Workplace Lead, this position will further develop, drive and implement the Global Workplace concept, strategy, governance and operational services for the Workplace Management function and to share wider responsibilities within Workplace Management and Corporate Real Estate.
The following areas of responsibility and described key responsibilities provide a broad outline of the scope of the role of the Global Workplace Manager. These are intended to cover key activities but are not exhaustive and the firm may need to adjust these from time to time to ensure that a comprehensive Corporate Real Estate operation is provided.
Responsibilites
- Support the development and implementation of Workplace Management Strategic Plan as part of global Real Estate Strategy.
- In collaboration with the Global Workplace Lead develop workplace tools, processes etc. related to Workplace and Change Management.
- Drive service delivery for all activities falling directly under Workplace Management.
- Actively deliver projects by setting up the delivery structure, and depending on size and complexity of projects, engage with internal and external collaborators, and broader GEA team.
- Embed Sustainability into all project phases working towards GEA Mission 2026 objectives.
- Create and support network of external partners, and set-up processes for efficient collaboration.
- Relationship Management and Collaboration covering interfaces with multiple internal and external stakeholders including the organisations Business Divisions and Regions, organisations Real Estate functions and regional teams, external Real Estate partners and contractors, the organisation's corporate functions etc.
- Actively work with GEA internal functions to prepare for seamless delivery of Workplace projects.
- Ensure compliance across Real Estate governance and performance arrangements for the Workplace management operations.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree- in a relevant field, eg Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering.
- Architectural Design and Workplace track record in EMEA and ideally globally, within consulting or corporate.
- Broad international stakeholder management skills, with 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluent English. Additional European languages are an advantage, especially a mother tongue level of German.
- Hands-on and proactive approach.
- Comfortable in presenting and driving project discussions.
- Proficient in use of technology and enabling tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, CAD.
