We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Food Science and Technology department.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Food Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will

have a strong background in food science, materials, and product development, combined with

extensive industry experience. This role involves driving innovation in our AI platform,

developing new features, and ensuring the platform meets the needs of food scientists and

developers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the entire Food Science and Technology department.
Develop and enhance features of the AI platform focused on food science and recipe
formulation.
Apply sensory evaluation, flavor, and organoleptic principles to the platform’s
capabilities.
Ensure the platform supports efficient manufacturing processes and product quality.
Assist and oversee the expansion of the food database, ensuring accurate integration of
food science principles.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the food science, data science, and
engineering teams.
Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure seamless information flow
between food and business needs and their implementation in the platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Food Science, Food Product Development, Food Chemistry, or a
related field.
10+ years of industry experience in food science and product development.
Strong background in sensory evaluation, flavor, and organoleptic testing.
Experience with food manufacturing processes and materials science.
Proven track record in commercializing products from concept to full-scale production.
Proficiency in analytical techniques like GC-MS.
Leadership experience in managing R&D teams and projects.
