The Opportunity
CAULIPOWER is looking for an analytical, consumer-centric Associate Brand Manager with CPG experience to help us grow our pizza business and build brand equity. Reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will drive pizza commercialization projects, competitive and consumer analysis, and marketing plan executions as well as help with day-to-day business management and cross-functional collaboration to support growth. Our ideal candidate is an experienced marketing associate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is looking to bring their experience to our growing brand marketing team.
What You Will Do
Data Analysis:
- Passionately dive into data to help drive business priorities and growth
- Use tools such as Numerator and Red Fox/Spins to deliver analysis and deep dives of brands, categories, channels, consumers, and products
- Leverage insights’ team share outs, consumer reviews, and macro trends to support brand strategy decisions
- Drive organizational brand knowledge by creating monthly reports and contributing to business reviews
Product Management:
- Work cross functionally to execute pizza commercialization projects
- Have an eye for detail + design and a desire to work cross functionally with creative, ops, finance and sales on packaging design changes, product reformulations, new flavor launches, and new configuration projects
- Support SKU rationalization & assortment strategic decisions
- Lead communication on new, updated and discontinued items
Build Brand Equity:
- Strengthen our marketing funnel and build brand love
- Support annual marketing planning, activations & budget management (excluding Shopper) to increase brand awareness and trial
- Partner with the Shopper Marketing Specialist to drive brand priorities, design and communications
- Understand CAULIPOWER’s points of differentiation and keep a pulse on consumer sentiment to optimize communications and products
Who You Are
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- At least 3 years in the CPG industry on the brand, marketing, or sales team
- ‘Better For You’ category experience; frozen or refrigerated ideal but not required
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in Nielsen, IRI or SPINS syndicated data analysis. Experience with Numerator ideal but not required
- Strong project management skills with experience utilizing PM tools such as Asana, Smartsheets, or others similar tools
- Understanding of marketing levers and brand building activities including digital and social media
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working cross functionally with operations, sales, finance, and senior leadership
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas; strong focus on finding solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills
- Experience acting with a degree of ownership and personal accountability
- Ability to travel for meetings
