Prime Roots is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager. In this role, you'll be a part of the strategy and own the execution and implementation of Prime Root's consumer and trade marketing plans.
You must identify as someone who knows what good looks like, and you will also be required to be able to use a data driven approach to iterating and growing the brand. You are not afraid to roll your sleeves up to execute to bring the brand to life- whether it be in writing copy, creating materials, going into stores to support our partners, talking to consumers - all facets of marketing interest you and you are looking to make a meaningful contribution to a growing innovative food startup.
What you'll do:
Create, tell, and amplify stories that will build Prime Roots brand within B2C and B2B audiences. You must have experience with brand storytelling and comfortable with end-to-end execution of this.
You will own, the Owned and Earned media and marketing channel at Prime Roots - you will also support and lead some initiatives within Paid marketing channels as well
Develop and implement across all facets of marketing at Prime Roots - think you are the one stop shop for all things marketing
Develop and grow Prime Roots community of consumers and nurture relationships and build Prime Roots brand through loyalty program and other programs
Be responsible for in-store merchandising and brand look and feel across all channels and accounts and iterating this periodically - this includes product marketing
Responsible for all brand content and digital strategy
Responsible for bringing Prime Roots marketing calendar to life across all channels
Interface and execution partner with our retail and food service partners on collaborations and for any and all marketing needs
Be the central control for all things brand copy and brand design needs
Support on all marketing initiatives across public relations, paid, advertising, events, experiential, and all other areas of marketing
Run experiments and collect and analyze data to evaluate effectiveness of campaigns and collateral
Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree, and at least 4 years of experience working in brand and product marketing
Have experience marketing mainstream products to moms and niche audiences is preferred
A strategic executor - you love strategy, and you love bringing strategy to life yourself
Be comfortable with being in front of and behind the camera/phone camera
You have a demonstrated track record of bringing products to the market and executing marketing across various channels and mediums
Experience with consumer brands is a must, preferably within food
You are a risk-taker, you enjoy taking a strategic, data-driven approach to solving problems
You're familiar with reading and analyzing consumer insights and trends
You're able to be resourceful and excited about grassroots growth and the opportunity to establish a brand
