Senior Project Manager Bakery (m/w/d)
TASKS:
Sales Support:
- Conduct customer consultations to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Support sales representatives by addressing technical questions and providing expert guidance.
- Create detailed calculations and proposals to assist in the sales process.
- Perform technical feasibility checks to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities within the Hillenbrand portfolio to maximize customer value.
- Drive the innovation and market introduction of AGV solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Project Delivery:
- Lead internal project management efforts for large and complex projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, promoting best practices in project management.
PROFILE:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales support, technical sales, or project management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Technical Skills:
- Technical know-how related to the bakery market
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to create detailed calculations, proposals, and technical documentation.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
Project Management Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
