Separation & Flow Technologies encompass process engineering components and machines, including separators, decanters, homogenizers, valves and pumps. These technologies are at the heart of many production processes.
For Our Separation & Flow Technologies Division In Granollers We Are Looking For An Area Sales Manager To Perform The Following Tasks
- Meet order intake and sales annual expectations connected with Dairy and Beverage applications.
- Ensure all sales orders are negotiated with acceptable gross margin contribution according to defined targets.
- Keep existing customers and increase nowadays GEA Westfalia market share with new customers for Dairy and Beverage applications.
- Support Head of Sales to define sales strategy for Iberia Beverage and Dairy New Machine market.
- Support Head of Marketing to define marketing strategy for Iberia Beverage and Dairy New Machine market.
- Manage, control and report whole offer project management process: contact customer, definition of scope with customers & Business Line, commercial discussions and support project execution.
- Prospect and cooperate with external partners
- Manage customer relationships.
- Support product development projects.
- Support Service Sales Business.
- Support Financial Department when customers are not up to date on payments.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- University Degree in Engineering
- Min 3 years’ relevant experience in similar functions
- Know-how of state-of-the-art sales process, organization methods and tools (e.g. ordering, pricing, CRM)
- Proven skills in negotiation & contracting with customers.
- Understanding of corporate finance.
- English (proficient), Catalan (preferred).
- Deep understanding of business with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations
- Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills
- Team player, good networker and negotiator
- Very good communication skills, strong salesperson
- Strong customer orientation - Ability to engage with customers at different level
- Availability to travel
