GEA Digital, the IIoT Chapter is dedicated to transforming industrial operations through cutting-edge technology and data-driven solutions. We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our IIoT platform.
As a
Systems Engineer for our IIoT platform, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the infrastructure and systems that support our IIoT solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform, enabling seamless integration and data flow between industrial devices and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support business operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Conduct business process analysis to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and other documentation to support business process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for system deployment and management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support to internal teams and customers
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on IIoT or related technologies.
- Proven track record managing and optimizing systems for performance, cost and usability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
