Line manager: Director of Technology
The objective of the Engineering and Projects Manager is to provide portfolio execution for the complete CAPEX portfolio of ENOUGH and project management execution from front end engineering design (FEED), detailed design to construction and commissioning of the second line in Sas van Gent, including project planning and budget for strategic CAPEX projects. The role will report to the Director of Technology, working closely with the Technology team, Finance team and contractors.

Key responsibilities:
Safe execution of all CAPEX projects, in line with a zero injury, zero-harm expectation.
Ensure a robust design and build team and project processes.
Lead ENOUGH project team on strategic capital project alongside contractors
Lead and achieve allocated project responsibilities regarding scope, planning and capital spend.
Portfolio management for the full CAPEX portfolio of ENOUGH.
Designing and executing a project that is compliant with legal regulations and ENOUGH requirements such as Food Safety and HSE.
Coordinate and lead on the project planning
Coordinating completion of all build deliverables throughout each phase.
Lead and coordinate reviews throughout each phase: Project Workshops, Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI), Independent Project Analysis (IPA) Reviews, Technical Reviews, Operational Readiness and Gate Reviews.
Maintaining control of the technical aspects of the project by measuring performance and taking corrective action.
Designing and building a project that meets the operability requirements.
Requirements of the role:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with others and work independently. Proven experience in complex stakeholder management and negotiation.
High organisational sensitivity and experience in strategic projects. Good decision-making capability.
Demonstrate commitment, ownership and seniority in your day-to-day work.
Proven project management experience in a project-oriented organisation
Proficient in working with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project
Minimum of a Bachelor education in a related discipline (chemical, bio or mechanical engineering)
Relevant industrial experience in design and manufacturing environment
Management experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects in complex environments.
Process and/or operations / manufacturing experience is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of plant design, capital projects process and commissioning
Direct experience of process development and scale up.
Highly developed practical process engineering skills
Ability to prioritise personal and team workloads to achieve deadlines.
Capable of working under pressure.
